Check-in and boarding are usually handled by the operating airline. In some airports, Air Astana may provide these services on behalf of FlyArystan.

Are sports equipment and special baggage (weapons, animals) accepted?
No. Sports equipment and special baggage are not accepted on codeshare flights.

What should I do in case of baggage delay, loss, or damage?
If your ticket is issued by Air Astana and FlyArystan operates the flight, baggage-related matters are handled by Air Astana. Please contact the Air Astana baggage service desk at the arrival airport.

Can I purchase additional baggage?
Additional or excess baggage can be purchased at the airport check-in desk. Prepaid baggage is not available.

Is baggage checked through to the final destination?
Yes. When flights are booked on one Air Astana ticket, baggage is checked through to the final destination.

What baggage allowance applies?
On FlyArystan-operated segments booked under an Air Astana flight number, passengers are entitled to:
- 1 checked bag up to 23 kg, and
- 1 carry-on bag up to 8 kg.

Will I receive boarding passes for the entire itinerary?
If your flights are on one Air Astana ticket, airport staff will issue boarding passes for all flights where possible. In some cases, additional checks may be required at the transfer airport.

Can I check-in online?
Online check-in is not available for FlyArystan-operated codeshare flights.
All check-in procedures are completed at the airport, free of charge.
